Dora "Dee" M. Downs

Dora “Dee” M. Downs went home to be with the Lord on Monday, December 5, 2022. She was born to the late Willie and Eva Laxton in Pine Knot, KY. She was the beloved wife of the late Druien Dale Downs, devoted mom of Jonna M. Downs, Druien K. (Sheila) Downs, Kara E. Downs, and Prudence D. Downs, proud Nanna of Druien Kris (Skyler) Downs II, and Madison Downs, and dear sister of Ralph (Annette) Laxton, James (the late Candy) Laxton, Shirley Enderle, Carolyn (Joe) Head, and the late Wilma and James Harris.

Dora “Dee” loved her family and was the Anchor that held them together…she had Sunday, Monday, and Thursday family dinners, enjoyed working in her yard, planting flowers and gardening, was a member of the Milford 1st United Methodist Church where she worked in the office, was a member of the church Prime Timers, Communion Committee, Fellowship Committee, Prayer Chain, and visited the sick in their homes, and was a member of the Happy Heart Club for Jewish Hospital.

A Funeral Service officiated by Pastors Bill Tice and Joe Head, will be on Friday, December 9, 2022, at 1 PM at Megie Funeral Home and Crematory, 529 Main St., Milford, OH 45150, where friends will be received from 12 NOON until the hour of service.

Committal Service will be at Greenlawn Cemetery in Milford, OH.
