Edna Fordyce

Edna Fordyce, aged 96, passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 5, 2026. She was born on April 13, 1930, to the late Eulias and Frances Waters.

Edna was a talented knitter and quilter and enjoyed singing. She was an active member of the Order of the Eastern Star in Oakley and the Sweet Adelines. After many dedicated years, she retired from Swallens.

Edna leaves behind her beloved children, Mike Fordyce, Dan Fordyce, and Lori Boys; her cherished grandchildren, Amy Nadell, Stacy Armstrong, Betsy Fordyce, Meghan Vaught, Chris Fordyce, Kyle Boys, Wade Boys, Sadie Fordyce, and Molly Fordyce; and her great-grandchildren, Nathan, Connor, Henry, Griffin, and Faye.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, James "Jim" Fordyce, her son, James Fordyce, as well as three brothers and one sister.

A graveside service will be held at 11 AM on Monday, November 9, 2026, at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Montgomery, Ohio.
