Eleanor Schafer Gallagher

Eleanor Gallagher died peacefully at home on Wednesday, June 17, 2009, at age 94. She was preceded in death by her husband, W. Graydon Gallagher. She is survived by her three children: Timothy Gallagher (Roberta) of Commerce City, Colorado; Gay Henize (Roger) of Cincinnati, Ohio; and Joyce Waddell (Charles) of Westerville, Ohio; ten grandchildren: Tiffany Normandin of Helena, Montana; Shannon Gallagher of Commerce City, Colorado; Kristi Becht of Georgetown, Indiana; Amy Johnston and Matthew Waddell of Columbus, Ohio ;Keith Henize, Leslie Harshfield, Lauren Roberson , Blake Henize , and Tim Henize of Cincinnati, Ohio; and 13 great grandchildren. Funeral arrangements are being handled by Craver-Riggs Funeral Home and Crematory in Milford, Ohio. Eleanor�s desire was for direct cremation with no viewing. A memorial service will be held at St. Thomas Episcopal Church, 100 Miami Ave., Terrace Park, Ohio at 11:00 a.m. Saturday June 20, 2009. Because Eleanor has always liked bright colors, her family encourages you to dress accordingly for this celebration of her life. There will be a reception at the church following the service.
