Ellen K. Lowry

Ellen K. Lowry, age 80, long time resident of Milford, passed away peacefully on April 7, 2011. She was an avid reader, loved to bird watch and enjoyed working crossword puzzles. Ellen was the devoted wife for 62 years to her husband, William F. Lowry, loving mother of Barbara A. (Thomas W.) Luecke, Deborah (Dennis L.) Borntrager, both of Milford, Todd C. Lowry of Goshen and the late Michael A. (Paula) Lowry, proud grandmother of Anthony D, Matthew T, and Kristin L. Luecke, Scott A, and Heather Lowry, Jennifer L, and Brian D Borntrager, Nicholas F, Samantha L, and Alexandra R Lowry, and adoring great grandmother of Jacob, Scarlett, Audrey and Jason. She will also be missed by her sister Barbara (Jack) Hoffman and many other family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents Bennet R and Hazel Knight and grandparents Charles and Clara Grote. Friends and family are welcome Monday, April 11, 2011, 9:30 am until time of service 11:00 am at Milford First United Methodist Church in Milford. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be directed to the Alzheimer�s Association, 644 Linn St, Cincinnati, OH 45203.
