Esther Ruth Liden

Esther Ruth Liden, passed away on May 1, 2010 at the age of 86. She was the loving mother of Connie Sharma and Keith Liden, and the proud grandmother of six. Esther served as a Navy nurse during WWII and played piano on the radio in her younger years, while living in Chicago. A memorial service will be held at the Powell United Methodist Church, in Powell, OH, on Sunday, May 30, 2010 at 2:00 pm with inurnment at Woodlawn Cemetery, in Riverside, IL. The inurnment date will be announced in the near future. If desired, memorials in her memory may be directed to the Ohio Veterans Home, 2003 Veterans Blvd, Georgetown, OH 45121 Inurnment will take place on Friday, 6/11/2010, at 10:30am at Woodlawn Cemetery, 7750 West Cermak Road, Forest Park, Ill. There will be a Military Honor Guard to recognize Esther's service to the United States during World War II.
