Eva Jewel "Judy" (Dillion) Stewart, 89 years old, died peacefully in her home after battling lung cancer. Judy was born on March 28, 1931 in Corbin, Kentucky to Eva and Lynn Dillion. Her family owned and operated the Corbin Milk Company where Judy worked as a soda jerk in her teenage years. She would live to tell her children, grandchildren, and friends many stories of Corbin, Kentucky, her Austrian heritage, and her time spent working at her family's business. She never lost her love for the hills of Kentucky and said that Cincinnati was pretty because it had the fortune to touch the border of Kentucky. Judy graduated from Corbin High School and went on to follow in the footsteps of her creative family. She and her husband, Calvin Stewart, moved to Ohio, in 1955 just two weeks after their third son was born. Judy would later use her creative talents to become an artist. Her oil paintings, painted with the signature J. Stewart, would be sought after locally and across the US. Her art career would span over 40 years and she would create art for the rest of her life. She won many awards and treasured her 40 plus year relationship with the Row House Art Gallery in Milford, Ohio. She enjoyed being a member of the Women's Art Club of Cincinnati. Her husband, Calvin Stewart, preceded her in death as did her sons Garrett and Joseph Stewart, and her grandson Nathan Stewart. She is survived by her son Walter Stewart (Bonnie) and her daughter Rebecca (Stewart) Case, (David). She loved her grandchildren Angela Stewart, Margaret Frances Adkins (Stewart), Robert Stewart, Thomas Stewart, Daniel Stewart, Walter Stewart Jr., Jessica Kong (Stewart), Margaret Lynn Case and Herschel Case. She also loved her great grandchildren: Adrienne and Isaiah Adkins, Ruby and Gunner Stewart, Ellie and Ayda Tomes. A small, private ceremony will be held for family. Eva Jewel Stewart's wish is the donations be made to the Women's Art Club of Cincinnati, https://thebarn.regfox.com/memorial-donations , and St. Jude's Hospital, https://www.stjude.org
