AMIOTT, Farrel L. of Mt. Orab, OH, formerly of Williamsburg, OH. Beloved husband of Edna Amiott of Mt. Orab, OH; loving father of Tena (Frank) Clifton of Williamsburg, OH, Debbie (Mark) Wilcox of Hamersville, OH, Rodney (Karen) Amiott of Mt. Orab, OH, Farrel Lee (Trish) Amiott Jr. of Batavia, OH, and Angie (Trapper) Hendryx of Batavia, OH; caring grandfather of numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Mr. Amiott passed away Saturday, February 25, 2017 at the age of 80. He was preceded in death by his parents, Russell F. and Alice M. Amiott; a daughter, Peggy Anderson; a son, Jeremy Amiott; and two sisters, Ethel Mae Althaus and Betty Hammonds.

Mr. Amiott served in the US Air Force during Korea and retired from Verdin Co. He was a member of F&AM New Harmony Lodge 435 and O.E.S. Chapter 514. Mr. Amiott served as a police officer with the Mt. Orab and Williamsburg Police Departments and he attended Central Baptist Church in Williamsburg, OH.

Funeral service 7 PM Wednesday, March 1, 2017 at Megie Funeral Home, 104 Spice Street, Mt. Orab, OH 45154, where friends received from 5 PM until the time of service.

Memorial donations may be directed to Hospice of Hope.
