Faye G. Hayes

Faye G. (nee Garman) Hayes, age 92, of Milford, died Tuesday, December 29th at Hospice of Cincinnati. Born May 21, 1917 in Bainbridge, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Earl and Carrie (nee Lisby) Garman. She worked at Wright Aeronautical during World War II while attending evening classes to earn her beauty operator�s license. She later opened and operated Faye�s Beauty Salon at 444 Main Street in Milford for several years. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Orris Phil Hayes, three brothers; Clarence Carlton, Glenn Ellsworth and Raymond Garman, and two sisters; Fairy Garman and Gladys Reed. She is survived by a sister, Louise Curlis of Milford; a daughter, Linda Louise (Cecil) Powers of Milford; a son, Kenneth Ray (Barbara) Judd of Montgomery, five grandchildren, and eleven great-grandchildren. Friends and family are welcome Saturday, January 2nd, 9 AM until time of service, 10:30 AM, all at Craver-Riggs Funeral Home and Crematory, Milford. If desired, memorials may be directed to charity of choice.
