Beloved wife of Alfred "Mac" McCoin, whom she married on November 16, 1946 in Radford, VA; loving mother of Robyn (Billy) Armstrong of Columbus, OH, Kelly McCoin of Loveland, OH, Jody (Kathy) McCoin of Maineville, OH; caring grandmother of Tracy Ward, Billy Jo Armstrong, Kyle McCoin and Sara McCoin; dear great-grandmother of Justin Oliver, Jessica Oliver, Holly Ward and Ivy Ward; cherished sister of Paul Carden of Chester, VA. Preceded in death by her parents, James Edgar and Lola Dove (nee Hylton) Carden; two sisters, Mabel Jones and Louise Stanley; and six brothers, Marvin Carden, J. B. Carden, Ray Carden, Earl Carden, Allen Carden and Oaften Carden. Died Thursday, June 17, 2010 at the age of 85. Mrs. McCoin was a very loving and caring mother and she was a member of Springvale Baptist Church. Friends will be received from 12 Noon - 10 PM Monday, June 21, 2010 at the family home where funeral services will be held 11 AM Wednesday, June 23, 2010. Pastor Joe Childress officiating.
