Frank G. Hamer

HAMER, Frank G., 86 of Milford and Venice, FL, passed away at his home Thursday, November 19th, 2009. Mr. Hamer attended Virginia Tech and then proudly served in the US Army Air Corp. 592nd AAF-ATC in North Africa during World War II. He also served as a deacon in the Presbyterian Church in Clifton, OH. He was a member of the V.F.W. in Venice, FL and the American Legion in both Milford and Venice, FL. Frank was also a member of the Masonic Lodge of Marathon, OH, and an active member of the Shriners Legion of Honor and an active 32? Scottish Rite Mason. He is survived by his wife Shirley Bauer Roehm Hamer and his children; Lee Anne Brill (Dave), Dane B Hamer, the late Linda Sue Hamer, and Scot Alan Roehm (Melissa). Grandfather of Devon Craig, Tiffini Hamer, Damon Craig, Deanna Hotchkiss, Jaimee Hamer, Kaydee Hamer, and Sarah Roehm and great-grandfather of Alexis, Ethan, Nicholas, Alizabeth, Alex, Hallie, and Rylee. A memorial service will begin 3PM Monday November 23rd with the family receiving friends from 2PM till time of service, all at Craver-Riggs Funeral Home & Crematory, Milford. A gathering of family and friends to celebrate Frank�s life will immediately follow the memorial service at the Milford American Legion Annex Bldg. 450 Victor Stier Dr. Milford.
