Frank Daniel Watkins

Watkins, Frank Daniel, 82, long-time resident of Mariemont and Terrace Park, died September 26, 2010. Born January 23, 1928, in Cincinnati, OH, to Frank and Mildred (nee: Crull) Watkins, he attended Withrow High School, Miami University, and was a veteran of the Korean War. The family moved to Mariemont during his high school years; however, he chose to remain at Withrow until graduation, due to his love and passion for the high school band. This resulted in having to ride public transit each day, carrying not only his books, but his clarinet and saxophone. Upon returning from service, he joined the family business, Exquisite Cleaners & Launderers, where he remained until his retirement. Survivors include his wife, Janet (nee: Webb) Watkins, two daughters, Jennifer Watkins, Port Ludlow, Wa., Laura Taylor (Jeffrey), Athens, Ga., and four grandsons, Porter Taylor (Rebecca), Brice Taylor, Jordan Taylor, and Cody Taylor, as well as many cousins.
