Freddie "Butch" Dale Kirker Jr.

Freddie Dale “Butch” Kirker Jr. of Hillsboro, Ohio passed away Friday February 28, 2025, in Cincinnati at the age of 58. He was born Oct. 30, 1966, to Fred Kirker Sr. and the late Barbara (née Wilder) Kirker.

Freddie is survived by his beloved wife, Kelly Cain; loving children: Brandon (Shelby Walker) Kirker of Burlington, KY, Patrick (Emily) Kirker of NC and Karmen Creech of Hillsboro, OH; dear siblings: David (Joette) Kirker of Wilmington, OH, Ed (Kristi) Kirker of Navarre Beach, FL and Cindy (Jay) Voline of Cincinnati, OH; along with numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his sister, Peggy Ellen Kirker-McGhee.

Freddie served in the US Air Force from 1985 until 1999 receiving the Air Force Commendation medal and Longevity of Service Award along with numerous other ribbons and medals. He was an LPN in the civilian world, which was his true passion - helping others that were in need. He enjoyed catfishing, being outside and spending time with family and friends. He never met a stranger and would light up a room with his smile and laugh. He will truly be greatly missed and loved by many.

Funeral services will be 1 PM Thursday March 6, 2025, at the Megie Funeral Home 104 Spice Street, Mt. Orab, OH 45154 with friends received from 11 AM until the time of service. Burial will follow at Sardinia Cemetery where Military Honors will be presented.
