Gary Rudyard Cooper

Gary Rudyard Cooper, age 83, passed away on Wednesday, August 3, 2022. He was the cherished son of the late Raymond W. and Lydonia L. Cooper, beloved husband of 64 years to Barbara J. Bobo Cooper, loving father of Kurt Cooper, Craig (June) Cooper, and Emily (Todd) Jefferson, proud grandfather of McKenna Jefferson, and loving brother of Cary “Butch” (the late Mary Ann) Cooper. Gary graduated from The Ohio State University and Xavier University, proudly served our country in the United States Army as a Major, was a longtime member of the Milford First United Methodist Church, a 32° Mason, and retired after 50 years of computer sales. In addition to his parents, Mr. Cooper was preceded in death by his siblings, Betty (Howell) Walters, Patty Wortman, and Judy Ware. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, August 12, 2022, at the Milford 1st United Methodist Church, 541 Main St., Milford, OH 45150 at 1:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, family requests memorial contributions be to the charity on one’s choice.
