George Edward Rutherford

George E Rutherford, cherished husband of 50 years to Carolyn and father to George, died at home, November 28, 2020 at the age of 77 years.

George served 2.5 tours in Vietnam while in the USAF, (1964-1969), followed by service in the 440th USAF Reserve and the 128th Wisconsin Air National Guard at Mitchell Field, Milwaukee, WI.

George spent 30 years driving Milwaukee County Buses and retired in 2010 to spend time with family, after a move to Ohio.

Survived by his wife, Carolyn (nee Berg/Goldberg) Rutherford, son George (Christy) Rutherford, grandchildren Jillian and Nathan, niece Kimberly K Berg of Los Angeles, sisters Brenda Rutherford of Cudahy, WI, and Gloria Biegemann of Waukesha, WI, life-long friend, Wayne (Karen) Reimer of Spanaway, WA, as well as many other cousins, nieces and nephews.

Predeceased by his parents, Edward A and Christine LW Rutherford, sister Frances Knoll, and special cousins, Randy Rutherford and Kenny Cooley.

There will be a graveside service, 10: 00 AM ET, Saturday December 5, 2020 at Mt Moriah Cemetery.
