Gerald 'Butch' Paul Malone

Gerald P "Butch" Malone 12/1/1944 - 11/18/2021

Butch was born December 1, 1944 in Riverside, California and passed away Thursday, November 18, 2021 due to complications of Covid. He was a graduate of Norwood High School. He was a proud veteran of the United States Marine Corps and achieved the rank of Sergeant. He served in Vietnam and was awarded the Purple Heart. He was a 25 year member of Freemason's McMakin lodge #120. He was also a gifted photographer who took great joy in sharing his talents. He was preceded in death by his father Paul Samuel Malone, his mother Emly Faye Malone his brother Michael James Malone and his cousin Elizabeth Carol Smith. He is survived by his niece Michelle Malone Gossard, her children and grandchildren; cousins Dale Copens, Emly Pharis, Rick Rohdenburg, Jim Rohdenburg, Howard Rohdenburg, Ted Rohdenburg, Steve Rohdenburg, Melissa Doll and their families. There will be a very small, private burial and there will be a celebration of his life at a later date when it is safe to do so.
