Gloria J. Kress

Gloria June Kress (nee Bauman), Beloved wife of the late Roger A. Kress. Devoted mother of Jeffrey (Christine), Stephen (Nancy), and Eric (Angie). Cherished grandmother of 7 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Gloria passed away peacefully Sept 30th at age 90. She was born and raised in Lock Haven, PA, and was a longtime resident near Newtonsville, Ohio. Gloria graduated from Lock Haven State Teachers College in 1948 with a degree in Education. She and Roger married in 1949, and moved into the greater Cincinnati area in 1956. She was a regular substitute teacher in the elementary classes of Clermont Northeastern School District until her retirement in 1992. She was a long time member, volunteer and Sunday school teacher at Christ Presbyterian Church in Day Heights as well as serving several other charitable organizations during her adult lifetime. Gloria enjoyed a life-long passion in her family, reading, music and educating children. Visitation will be held from 10:00AM Friday, October 14th, until the time of funeral service at 10:30AM at Christ Presbyterian Church, 5657 Pleasant View Drive Milford, Ohio 45150.
