Harriett Nicole 'Nici' Crabtree

Harriett Nicole Crabtree “Nici,” 37, died on November 1, 2017. She was born in Houston, Texas on January 10, 1980 to Sherry Hughes and Eddie Sparks.

Nici loved swimming and even joined the high school swim team. She also enjoyed traveling and some good fajitas.

She married in November of 2008 to the love of her life, James Crabtree, and they shared six wonderful years until he passed in October of 2014. Nici is preceded in death by her son, Seth Scalf, and husband, James Crabtree.

She is survived by her mother, Sherry Hughes; father, Eddie Sparks and wife Jo-Ann; sisters, Lori Blalock and husband Chris, Courtney Hamill and husband Keith; brother, Ed Sparks; children, Stormee Bodiford, Pashience Hughes and Serenity Crabtree; and stepchildren, Courtney Marsh and Nick Crabtree along with members of her extended family.

Visitation will be held at Megie Funeral Home 104 Spice St., Mt. Orab, OH 45154 beginning at 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM on Saturday, November 18, 2017 and the funeral service celebrating Nici’s life will begin at 1:00 PM.  Interment will follow funeral services at Mt. Orab Cemetery.
