Helen Lohr (nee Gant) a determined, creative and wonderfully witty woman who did it her way for 92 years died peacefully at her home on April 15, 2018 following a stroke. She was an artist, gardener, storyteller and a character. Helen leaves behind many who love her including her devoted husband of 74 years Frank, daughters Peggy Fuhrman (Jim), Patty Buecker (David) and Molly Lohr. Daughter Linda Clarke preceded her in death along with Helen's parents Mollie and Harry Gant and eight siblings. Helen was a dynamic Grandmother who created a magic kingdom for her grandchildren Doug Scalf (Kindra), John Clarke (Jesse), Meredith Bauman (Nathan), Ryan Scalf (Jackie), Alexis Spiegelman (Marcus), and Josephine Buecker. She was also a great grandmother to Luke Bauman, Grant Bauman, Reed Bauman, Tyson Levy, Cecilia Hall, Amanda Hall, Morgan Clarke, Merrin Clarke, Reina Spiegelman, Rebekah Spiegelman, Andrew Scalf and special aunt to Sue Smyth (Todd). The family expresses deep gratitude to Dr. Raymond Noschang, Dr. Joseph Thomas, Dr. Simon Jung and Dr. William Glockner for providing her with wonderful care over the years that allowed her to have a long and fulfilled life. Visitation will be held on Sunday, April 22 between 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. at Craver-Riggs Funeral Home and Crematory located at 529 Main Street Milford, OH with funeral services on Monday, April 23 at 1 p.m. at Craver - Riggs followed by interment at Greenlawn Cemetery in Milford, OH.
