MATTHEY, Helen E. of Williamsburg, OH. Beloved grandmother of John (Toni) Matthey of Winder, GA and Robin (Bart) Colligan of Hamersville, OH; loving great-grandmother of Alex Matthey, Ian Matthey, and Adam Noschang; caring great-great-grandmother of Chase Noschang; longtine friend of Evelyn Reeves; dear mother-in-law of Judy Matthey of Feesburg, OH; cherished aunt of David Haydu and Donna Hoestate.

Mrs. Matthey passed away Friday, February 5, 2016 at the age of 98. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles John Matthey; her parents, Steven and Margaret Haydu; her sons, Edward Charles Matthey and Gary Allen Matthey; and her brother, Steve Haydu.

Mrs. Matthey was a resident of Marathon, OH for 55 years and a member of Newtonsville Baptist Church since 1972. She married Charles John Matthey on November 16, 1938.

Funeral service 11 AM Tuesday, February 9, 2016 at Megie Funeral Home, 104 Spice Street, Mt. Orab, OH 45154, where friends will be received from 10 AM until the time of service. Burial Plainview Cemetery, Wayne Township, OH.
