Helen O. Thatcher

Helen O. Thatcher of Mt. Orab, OH passed away on Sunday, May 5, 2019 at the age of 73, she went home to be with the Lord surrounded by family and friends.  She was born to the late William and Edith Odom on October 16, 1945 in Carter County, TN.

Helen is survived by her loving husband Glenn Thatcher of Mt. Orab, OH, her caring children Greg (Trina) Thatcher of Mt. Orab, OH, Glenda (Joe) Huff of Ripley, OH, Dickie (Kelly) Thatcher of Mt. Orab, OH, and Susan (Greg) Germann of Ripley, OH; 12 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild; her siblings Wilma Pipkins of Orlando, FL, Juanita Purkey of Jefferson City, TN, Frank (Linda) Odom of Jefferson City, TN, Jerry Odom of Jefferson City, TN, Howard Odom of Jefferson City, TN, and David (Betty) Odom of Elizabethton, TN.

In addition to her parents Helen was preceded in death by her brother Wesley Odom.

Helen was a member of the Mt. Orab Church of Christ, she was active in Women's Fellowship, and church activities.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 8, 2019 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Megie Funeral Home located at 104 Spice St., Mt. Orab, OH 45154.  Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, May 9, 2019 at 11:00 am at the Mt. Orab Church of Christ located at 400 Smith Ave, Mt Orab, OH 45154.  Interment will follow the funeral services at Buford Cemetery in Sardinia.
