Henry S. Chapman Jr.

Henry S. Chapman Jr., 81, passed away at his Milford home on November 8, 2006 with his cherished wife Penelope by his side. He was a WWII veteran who flew in 19 combat missions in a B-17 aircraft over enemy occupied Germany, Holland, Belgium, Denmark and France. Henry also had a wonderful sense of humor which he kept until the time of his death. He was the loving father of Rachel (Michael) Brunner, Henry Chapman III, step-father of Elizabeth (John) Cadwallader and Susan (Berand) Pannkuk. He is also survived by his brother John B. Chapman and was the proud grandfather of seven grandchildren. A memorial service to honor and celebrate his life will be held at St. Thomas Episcopal Church, 100 Miami Ave., Terrace Park at 2:30 pm on Sunday, November 12, 2006. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials be directed to Heartland Hospice, 2300 Wall St., Ste.O, Cincinnati 45212, St. Thomas Church or charity of choice.
