Henry Andrew "Andy" Menchhofer, born on December 12, 1948, in Cincinnati, Ohio, passed away on November 21, 2025, in Kenwood, Ohio, leaving behind a legacy of craftsmanship and devotion to family. Andy was a graduate of the Mariemont High School Class of 1968 and received an associates degree in business from Southwest College. Andy made a significant impact throughout his life as a painter/contractor where his skill and work ethic were well regarded.
A proud veteran, Andy served in the US Army during the Vietnam War, an experience that shaped his character and instilled in him a deep sense of discipline and commitment. In his personal life, he was a devoted member of Linwood Baptist Church, which reflected his strong faith and values.
Andy is survived by his cherished daughters, Tisha Ann (Mike) Grote of Wyoming, Ohio, and Holly Ann (Jordon) Thompson of Milford, Ohio. He found great joy in his grandchildren: Fira Grote, Tyce Grote, Elis Grote, and Sebastian Thompson. His family also includes his beloved sister, Becky Kaiser of Loveland, Ohio, and brother Ben (Robin) Menchhofer of Levittown, Pennsylvania, along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who will remember him fondly.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Irvin and Gladys Menchhofer, and brothers, Jerry and Jim Menchhofer.
Visitation for Andy will be held on Tuesday, December 2, 2025, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Megie Funeral Home & Crematory - Craver Chapel, 529 Main Street, Milford, Ohio 45150. A graveside service will follow on Thursday, December 4, 2025, at 10:00 AM at Dayton National Cemetery in Dayton, Ohio.

Andy Menchhofer will be remembered not only for his craftsmanship, but for the love and dedication he showed to his family and friends throughout his life. His legacy will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
