Howard Ray Lossing

Howard Ray Lossing, age 80, resident of Union Township, passed away quietly on November 14, 2012. He was the devoted husband of Yvonne (nee Banks) for 52 loving years, beloved father of Steven (Karen) Lossing, Howard (Janine) Lossing, and Kelly (Dennis) Legault, proud grandfather of Elizabeth, Evan, Sarah, Brian, Derrick, Jason and Avery, dear brother of James (Opal) Lossing, and Dr. Thomas (Carol) Lossing, treasured uncle of Diane Passmore, Debbie Qualls and David Lossing, and will be deeply missed by a host of other family and friends. Ray enjoyed gardening, reading old westerns books and watching old western movies, soccer, and fishing. He retired from the Air Force after serving his country in both the Korean and Vietnam wars, and deeply loved his family, which always came first in his life. A memorial service will be 2:00 pm, Saturday, November 17th at Craver-Riggs Funeral Home and Crematory in Milford. Inurnment will be 10:00 am, November 26, 2012, at Ft. Custer National Cemetery, Augusta, MI. If desired, the family requests donations in Ray�s memory be directed to the Epilepsy Foundation of Great Cincinnati, 895 Central Ave, Cincinnati, OH 45202.
