Howard Seaman

Howard Seaman passed away on Thursday, September 24, 2026, at the age of 83. He was born to the late Howard and Margaret Seaman on October 4, 1942. He leaves behind family and close friends.

He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Barbara Seaman; his children: B.J. Seaman and Jeffrey Seaman; his grandchild, Justin Seaman-Miller; his sister, Kathleen Austra; his nieces and nephews: Carson Seaman, Lilly Seaman, Skylar Biehl, Roger Seaman, Josh Niesen, Lisa Niesen, Vicki Bussel-Shanklin, Stephanie Zinsmeister, Tracy Damewood, Edward Zinsmeister and Rachel Dickenson; and numerous great-nieces and great-nephews.

In addition to his parents, Howard was preceded in death by his grandchildren: Corey Seaman-Miller, Derek Seaman-Miller, Kevin Seaman and Kevin Smith; his siblings, Roger Seaman, Patricia Seaman, Edward Seaman and David Seaman; his nephew, Scott Austra; and his niece, Sarah Austra.

Howard served in the US Air force during Vietnam. He loved working with wood and building houses and furniture. He also loved everything about baseball.

A Celebration of Life will be at 3 PM Thursday, October 1, 2026, at Megie Funeral Home & Crematory – Craver Chapel, 529 Main Street, Milford, Ohio, where family and friends will be received from 2 PM until the time of service.
