Jack Edward Frederick

Jack Edward Frederick, 83, of Miamiville, Ohio, made his transition Thursday, May 19, 2011. He was the devoted husband of Lois (nee Wehrmann) Frederick, loving father of Deborah Frederick, Jay (Cathie Jean) Frederick, and Dori Lyn Frederick, dear step father of Barry (Lisa) Beckerdite and Brad (Rose) Beckerdite, cherished grandfather of Corrina Cook, Lea (Bill) Walker, Cayenne (Ali) Johnson, and Caleb (Sarah) Johnson, and will also be deeply missed by longtime family friend David Martin. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Dorothy �Dottee� (nee Wehr) Frederick 0n 2005. Jack was a member of Sycamore Presbyterian Church since 1954 and served as a church elder and also Sunday school teacher for many years, and enjoyed his role as scoutmaster of Miamiville troop #371. He was an avid bird and dog lover and supported many charities. Jack proudly served in the United States Navy during WWII, the Korean and Vietnam conflicts, and was president of Unit 28 Fleet Reserve Association. Friends and family are welcome Tuesday, May 24, 2011, 10:00 am until time of service 11:00 am, at Craver-Riggs Funeral Home and Crematory.
