Jacqueline Ann Norcross

Jacqueline Ann Norcross, 79, died May18th, with the love of her family embracing her. Jackie was born April 27, 1937, in Phoenix, AZ to Ruth Voegele LaRue. Ruth relocated to Cincinnati when Jackie was just a baby and it was there she lived out the rest of her days. Jackie was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She lived a very full life with her husband and the love of her life for 58 years, Dave. They loved to travel and, together, visited all 50 United States, traveled the world extensively in Europe and even sailed around Cape Horn and through the straits of Magellan. Of all of these amazing places, the Grand Canyon was her favorite and they went back there together many times. She was a lifelong reader and could beat just about anyone in a game trivia or words with friends. Above all else though, she loved and was dedicated to her family. She cherished family vacations and holidays, always taking special care to get just the right gift for everyone. While she may have been a slight woman, she was tough beyond compare and always rose to any challenge she faced with determination. She fought hard this past year to stay with her family and gave us the gift of additional time to love her. Mrs. Norcross was the devoted and loving wife of Dave, cherished mother of Debbie (Mike) Owens, David (Michelle) Norcross, and her late infant son Douglas Norcross and proud grandmother of Ashley Owens, Amy Owens, Kaity Norcross, David Norcross and Alyssa Owens. Visitation will be 9 am until time of service, 11 am, Saturday, May 21, 2016, all at Craver-Riggs Funeral Home and Crematory in Milford.
