Jaimie Len Barnes

Jaimie Len Barnes departed this life on Thursday, September 23, 2021, at his home at the age of 57. He was the cherished son of the late Carole Barnes Russell and George Wilton Barnes, most loving father of Kelsey Barnes Rosa (Walter Peck), proud Papaw of Bryar Peck, caring uncle of Wade and Zach Barnes, stepbrother of Velvet Russell Andrews, adored nephew of Glenda Thompson, and big hearted, fun, loving cousin of Terri Whitt and Jeffrey Powell. In addition to his parents, Jaimie was preceded in death by his beloved brother George Wayne Barnes, and his stepfather Robert L. Russell. Jaimie was a 1982 graduate of Milford High School and attended Syracuse University on a football scholarship. He was a fun-loving friend, always ready to lend a helping hand. Family and friends could call him anytime and he was there for them. He was a big guy with a big heart.

Visitation Services will be held on Monday, September 27, 2021, from 6-8 PM at Megie Funeral Home/ Craver Chapel (formerly Craver Riggs Funeral Home and Crematory), 529 Main St., Milford, OH 45150, where Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, September 28, 2021, at 11 AM. A Committal Service will follow at Graceland Memorial Gardens in Milford, OH. If desired, family requests memorial contributions be directed to the Lupus Foundation of America at support.lupus.org.
