BARRACKMAN, James Robert of Sardinia. Beloved husband of Rosalie (nee Polk) Barrackman of Sardinia, OH; loving father of Jennifer Barrackman of Sardinia, OH, Sheila S. (Michael) Jones of Independence, KY, Mark L. Barrackman of Milford, OH, Thomas L. Barrackman of Milford, OH, Theresa (Rodney) Roark of Oakley, OH, Paul J. (Angel) Barrackman of Mt. Orab, OH, Krista A. (Tony) Wallace of Mt. Orab, OH and Laura S. Barrackman of Hillsboro, OH; dear grandfather of 13 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild; caring brother of Irene and Normajean; affectionate uncle of numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his parents, James Leslie and Venna(nee Riley) Barrackman. Passed Monday, August 11, 2008 at the age of 80. Mr. Barrackman attended the Bible Baptist Church of Mt. Orab, was a member of AFL CIO and a member of Teamsters Local 100. He served in the Army during the Korean War. Funeral services will be held 1 PM Friday, August 15, 2008 at the Megie Funeral Home, 104 Spice Street, Mt. Orab, OH, where friends will be received from 11 AM until the time of service. Interment Cowan Creek Cemetery. Memorial donations may be directed to the American Lung Association.
