James "Jim" I. Wallace Sr.

James “Jim” I. Wallace Sr. passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 3, 2023. He was 81 years old. Jim was born to the late Russell J. and Mary G. Wallace (Cyr) in Lowell, MA on January 2, 1942.

Jim is survived by his beloved wife of 60 years, Sharon (née Motard) Wallace; his son, James I. Wallace Jr. and wife Sonya; 5 grandchildren: Nicolas Hill, Jamie (Donnie) Mertens, Amanda Angell, Joshua (Abby) Wallace, and Jennifer Wallace, and 9 great-grandchildren, Kylie Hill, Kenzleigh Hill, Kennedy Mertens, Reagan Mertens, Grant Mertens, Keagen Angell, Olivia Angell, Jayden Angell, and James Wallace due in May 2024.

In addition to his parents, Jim was preceded in death by his daughter and son-in-law, Kim and Darren Hill; and his stepdad, Bernard Cyr; and three siblings: Robert Wallace, Russell Wallace, and Barbara Flanagan.

Jim proudly served our country in the United States Air Force.

To Jim, his family always came first. He had a larger than life personality and always had a witty remark or joke to tell. Jim loved lighthouses and beaches and of course the occasional Buca and a beer with his Wallace boys. It was a Wallace thing!

A Memorial Service with Military Honors will be held at 3 PM on Friday, December 8, 2023, at Megie Funeral Home and Crematory, 529 Main St., Milford, OH 45150.
