James E. Sherlock

SHERLOCK, James E., 68, of Milford, passed away after a long battle with Leukemia on Saturday February 16, 2008. Beloved husband of Judith Ann Sherlock (nee; Wellstead), loving father of Mike (Chrysanne), Brian (Kim), James (Heather) and Matthew (Elizabeth) Sherlock. Affectionate grandfather of George, James, Anne Marie, Alex, Jack, Andrew, Carlie, Sam, Katie, Luke and Isabella. Caring brother of Cathe Fulcher (Steve) and the late Barbara Weiser (Don). He is also survived by eleven nieces and nephews. Mr. Sherlock is also preceded in death by his parents; Matthew H. and Catherine V. Sherlock. Mr. Sherlock was a Masters Degree graduate in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Cincinnati where he also taught. He was a co-founder of both Structural Dynamics Research Corporation (SDRC) and MANTA Corporation. Mass of Christian Burial 11:30AM Thursday February 21st with visitation from 10AM till time of Mass at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church 7820 Beechmont Ave., Cincinnati. The family will also receive friends from 6 till 8PM Wednesday evening at Craver-Riggs Funeral Home & Crematory, Milford. Memorial donations may be made to either the JDRF Greater Cincinnati Chapter, the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society or to Immaculate Heart of Mary Church.
