James "Joe" Switzer of Mt Orab, OH Beloved husband of Jeanette (nee Baessler) Switzer since November 14, 1961; loving father of James D. Switzer of Houston, TX, Denis C. (Wendy) Switzer of Nottingham, NH, Steven T. (Lisa) Switzer of Loveland, OH, Jonathan (Sylvia) Switzer of Batavia, OH, Erich J. (Kelly) Switzer of Cincinnati, OH and Thomas C. Switzer of Loveland, OH; affectionate grandfather of 11 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren; dear brother of Robert Switzer of
Moorspark, CA, Eugene Switzer of Roseville, CA, Sue Strunk of Goshen, OH and Martha Cramlet of Mt. Orab, OH. Entered into rest September 14, 2011 at the age of 78. He was preceded in death by his parents Franklin and Jessie Marie (nee Haney) Switzer; a son David E. Switzer; brothers Jack Switzer, Paul Switzer, Daniel Switzer, Donald Switzer and sisters Betty Perdue and Esther Coy. He was a member of the Hamlet Seventh-Day Adventist Church, served in the US Army and retired from Swallens after 35 years. Funeral services will be held 11 AM Saturday, Sept.17, 2011 at the Megie Funeral Home 104 Spice Street, Mt. Orab, OH 45154 where friends will be received from 10 AM until time of service. Burial Mt. Orab Cemetery.
