James Elijah Whitson

James E.Whitson, 74, long time resident of Milford, passed away unexpectedly on November 30th at his home. He has been married 53 years to his beloved childhood sweetheart, Dolores (nee Cross) Whitson, and was the devoted father of Jerry, Mark (Karen) and David (Liz) Whitson. He was preceded in death by his parents, the late Jesse and Mary (nee Freeman)Whitson. James was the adoring grandfather of Ashley, Jesse, Bradley, Kyle, Madison, Dylan, and Andrew, and leaves behind a loving sister, Dolly Zornes. He is also survived by eight nieces and nephews and many grand nieces and nephews. He was a lifetime employee of Cincinnati Milacron, a proud Air Force veteran, and member of the Oakley Masonic Lodge. He was loved by everyone who knew him and will be deeply missed. Friends and family are welcome Monday, 10:30 AM until time of service, 12 noon, at Milford First United Methodist Church, 541 Main St. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials be directed to the Cincinnati Nature Center, 4949 Tealtown Rd.
