Jean Lloyd

Jean Lloyd, age 84, of Cincinnati, Ohio passed away on May 4, 2023. She was born on May 24, 1938, in Warrington, England.

Jean is survived by her loving husband, Alan Lloyd; her two sons, John and David; her daughter, Rhonda; her daughter-in-law, Susan; her granddaughter, Gwendolyn; and many other family and friends.

Jean was a kindergarten and preschool teacher and loved children. When living in upstate New York, she had a preschool in the basement of her home and set up the preschool program at Hyde Park Bethlehem United Methodist Church. She travelled the world and lived in four countries.

Jean was also the Treasurer of the Milford Garden Club, and her love for flowers and gardening was evident in her beautiful garden and plants around her home. Jean loved boating and spent many happy days on the water with her husband. They cruised four times around Florida and up to Canada and back on their boat. Jean also had a passion for knitting and was always making things for others. She even made Knitted Knockers, special handmade breast prostheses for women who have had breast cancer.

Jean was a kind-hearted person who hated seeing people arguing. Everyone who knew her described her as so nice, and her warm smile and gentle nature will be missed by all.
