Jerry I. Menchhofer

Jerry I. Menchhofer, 86 years old, passes away on Friday, May 28, 2021. He was the beloved husband of Girelean (nee' Hunt) Menchhofer, loving father of Dwight (Andrea) Menchhofer, proud grandfather of Erik and Bryce Menchhofer, and dear brother of Rebecca Kaiser, Ben (Robin) Menchhofer, and Andrew (Brenda) Menchhofer. Jerry proudly served our county in the United States Navy aboard the USS Forrestal. He was preceded in death by his parents, Irvin and Gladys Menchhofer and his brother Jimmie Menchhofer. Funeral Services and the Southwest Ohio VFW Memorial Team performing Military Rights, will be held on Sunday, June 6, 2021, at Craver Riggs Funeral Home and Crematory, 529 Main St., Milford, OH 45150 at 5 PM, where family and friends will be received from 3 PM until the hour of service. A Committal Service will be Monday, June 7, 2021, at 4 PM at the Tanglewood Cemetery, 1643 S. County Rd. 175 W, Versailles, IN 47042. If desired, family requests memorial contributions be directed to Tanglewood Cemetery Association, c/o Owen Menchhofer, 1970 N. County Rd. 300 W., Holton, IN 47023.
