Jim Godsey

Jim Godsey of Ripley, Ohio passed away at his home on Wednesday, June 12, 2024, he was 64 years old.  Jim was born to the late William Russell and Betty Lou (nee Farris) Godsey, on March 20, 1960, in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Jim is survived by his loving children Brandon (Ashley) Godsey of Union, Kentucky, Amber (Travis) Floyd of Independence, Kentucky, and Jared Godsey of Blue Ash, Ohio; his adored grandchildren Brandon Godsey Jr., Madison (Jon) Reisinger, Jacob Godsey, Trevor Floyd, Isaiah Hulton, Bayli McLaughin, Jayce McLaughin, and Ella McLaughin; and his caring siblings Michael Godsey, and Linda (Don) Glassmeyer of Madeira, Ohio.

In addition to his parents Jim was preceded in death by his daughter Amanda Godsey.

Jim had a love for Real Estate, and Fish Tanks. He was also a big member of the Ripley Community. He loved spending time with his family and was cherished by many.

Funeral Services will be held on Monday, June 17, 2024, at 12:00 pm at Megie Funeral Home located at 104 Spice Street, Mt. Orab, Ohio 45154.  Family and friends are welcome to come visit beginning at 10:00 am until the time of Service.  A graveside service will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park located at 3227 Dixie Highway, Erlander, Kentucky 41018 at 2:30 pm.
