Jimmie 'Hoot' Mckinley

MCKINLEY, Jimmie "Hoot" of Mt. Orab, OH. Beloved husband of 55 years of Mildred "Midge" McKinley; loving father of Rodney (Paula) McKinley of Edmond, OK, Debbie (Tom) McClellan of Portsmouth, OH, Carlos McKinley of Mt. Orab, OH, Lonnie (Lisa) McKinley of Sardinia, OH and Retha (Rob) Highfield of Mt. Orab, OH; cherished grandfather of nine grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren; caring brother of Helen Colliver of Georgetown, OH; dear friend of Judy Minor Schultz of Sardinia, OH.

Mr. McKinley died Thursday, February 26, 2015 at age 85. He was preceded in death by his parents, James B. and Ester McKinley; his daughter and son-in-law, Denna and Randy Kamp; a great-grandchild; and his brother, Richard McKinley.

Mr. McKinley served in the US Army during the Korean Conflict and was a member of Mt. Orab United Methodist Church. He served Mt. Orab Fire Department over 56 years and the Mt. Orab Police Department for over 33 years. He loved hunting, fishing and the great outdoors.

Friends will be received from 5-8 PM Monday, March 2, 2015 at Megie Funeral Home, 104 Spice Street, Mt. Orab, OH. Funeral service 11 AM Tuesday, March 3, 2015 at the funeral home. Burial Mt. Orab Cemetery, Green Township, OH.
