John Baker Jr.

John Baker Jr., age 73, passed away on Friday, August 27, 2021. He was the cherished son of the late John and Lela Baker, beloved husband of 17 years to Mary Beth (nee' Rauch) Baker, loving dad of Diane (Tom) Even and Chuck Baker and stepdad of Dustin (Kerri) Mantz, Kelly (Randy) Royal, and Shannon (Matt) Lucas, proud Grandpa and Pa John of all of his grandchildren, dear brother of the late Joe (Mae) Skinner, the late Sylvia Lawson, Jean (the late Bob) Murray, Terry (Lois) Baker, Jerry (Joan) Baker, and will also be missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins, other family and friends. John was a soft spoken, kind, gentle, loving man. He proudly served our county in the United States Navy during the Vietnam war. A Memorial Service for John will be held on Saturday, September 4, 2021, at 11 AM at the Life Church, 8480 Cincinnati Columbus Rd., Westchester, OH 45069, officiated by Pastor Darin Pratt, followed by a Graveside service with Military Honors by the Southwest Ohio VFW Memorial Team at Arlington Memorial Gardens at 2 PM.
