John P. Brannen

John P. Brannen, age 65, passed away October 21, 2017. He was the loving son of the late Donald E. and Dorothy L. (nee' Volski) Brannen, dear brother of Paul Brannen, Donald (Theresa) Brannen, Margaret (Brett) Simpkins, and Veronica Brannen, and a proud uncle of Donny (Mahlia) Brannen, Brian Simpkins, Michael (Angela) Simpkins, and Eva Brannen Sturm. John proudly served our country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He was a member of the Disabled America Veterans, very active with helping out at SEM Villa Retirement Community, and was also a member of the St. Andrew Apostle Catholic Church. A Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, October 28, 2017 at 11:00 AM at St. Andrew Apostle Catholic Church, 552 Main St. Milford, Ohio 45150. After the Memorial Mass all are invited back to Don Brannen's home at 14 Locust, Milford, for a celebration of John's life. In lieu of flowers family requests memorial contributions be directed to Hospice of Cincinnati, P.O. Box 633597, Cincinnati, Ohio 45263 or to the Disabled America Veterans, P.O. Box 14301, Cincinnati, Ohio 45250-0301.
