John Wesley 'Jack' Chesnut

CHESNUT, John Wesley "Jack" of Brown County, OH. Beloved husband for 56 years of Elda L. (née Spencer) Chesnut; loving father of Kimberly Jo Knisley of Washington Court House, OH, John Wesley (Ruth) Chesnut II of Kosova, Howard G. "Pete" Chesnut of Wauseon, OH; dear father-in-law of Danny Ray Arnett of Union, KY; cherished grandfather of Hannah (Nick) Westfall, John Caleb (Heather) Chesnut, Nathan Chesnut, Lydia Chesnut, Kory Chesnut, Kass Chesnut, Kody Chesnut, Jessica Arnett (Charles) Napier, Amber Bradshaw; affectionate great-grandfather of Haleigh, Ronda, Danny, Landon and Brendon; caring brother of Jenny Lynn (Bob) Brooks of Leesburg, OH and Roseann (Tim) Moore of Wilmington, OH.

Mr. Chesnut passed away Saturday, May 2, 2015 at the age of 75. He was preceded in death by his parents, Howard Wesley an dLulah Josephine Chesnut; a daughter, Ronda Marie Arnett; a son-in-law, Kevin A. Knisley; a grandchild, Danny Ray Arnett II; a brother, Charles Chesnut; and three sisters, Sylvia Marie Chesnut, Alberta "Bobbie" Setty and Gladys Irene "Ethel" Setty.

Mr. Chesnut was a member of the Church of Christ. He was a graduate of Martinsville High School Class of 1957 and he loved farming and training dogs.

Funeral service 1 PM Thursday, May 7, 2015 at Megie Funeral Home, 104 Spice Street, Mt. Orab, OH, where friends will be received from 11 AM until the time of service. Burial Hamer Township Cemetery, Hamer Township, Ohio.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be directed to Hollowtown Church of Christ.
