John Richard Kinmonth

John Richard Kinmonth, died January 31, 2009 at Hospice of Cincinnati in Anderson Township. Devoted husband of 58 years to Jean Shelton Kinmonth. Loving father to Karen of Reeds Spring, Mo, John R., Jr.(Josie) of Orlando, Fl, Frank S. of Baltimore, Md, Kathryn (Tom) Sly of Park City, Ut, and Karolyn Young of Cincinnati. Proud grandfather of Meagan (Jon) Bowman, John R. III (Bethanne), Frank S. Kinmonth, Jr., Wendy Hampton Sly, Joseph M. Kinmonth, Shelby Fulton Sly, Hannah Frances Young, Adelaide McQuire Young, and one great grandson, Jonny Bowman. Born in Joplin, Mo, Mr. Kinmonth graduated from Joplin High School and the University of Missouri where he was a member of the Beta Theta Pi Fraternity. He served in the Office of Special Investigation in the U.S. Air Force and enjoyed a 34 year career with Procter and Gamble. A memorial service will be held Feb 21st at St. Thomas Episcopal Church, Terrace Park at 1:00pm followed by a reception in the Parish Hall. The family suggests memorial gifts to The Episcopal Healing Ministry Foundation, 318 E. 4th St., Cincinnati, Oh 45202 to honor his ministry as Executive Director.
