John Leslie 'Jack' Rooks

ROOKS, John Leslie "Jack", 85, of Loveland, OH. Beloved father of Jackie (Bill) Siders of Loveland, OH and stepfather of Barb Schnecker of Loveland, OH, Dave (Annette) Megie of Loveland, OH and Tom (Stacy) Megie of Loveland, OH; loving grandfather of Kristin (Tim) Vandercook of Loveland, OH, Andrea (Bill) Cuzzort of Maineville, OH and seven step-grandchildren; caring great-grandfather of Izzi, Jayson, Brady, Chloe, Sadie and five step-great-grandchildren.

Mr. Rooks passed away Tuesday, June 3, 2014. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Alta M. Rooks; second wife, Helen Jo Megie-Rooks; his parents, James Leslie and Sarah Elizabeth Rooks; his daughter, Lesley Faye Fisher; and his sister, Sally Carr.

Mr. Rooks retired from Loveland Schools and was a retired Teamster. He served in the US Army and was a member of the Loveland VFW.

Funeral service 6 PM Sunday, June 8, 2014 at Craver Riggs Funeral Home, 529 Main Street, Milford, OH 45150, where friends will be received from 4 PM until the time of service.
