John "Johnny" Torres

John "Johnny" Torres of Cincinnati, OH, passed away on November 25, 2021 at the age of 51. He is survived by his wife, Brittney Torres; two children, Jack and Jake Torres; parents, John and Patty Torres; sister, Michelle Torres; his first wife, mother to Jack, and life-long friend Karen Torres; and his pups Red and Annie Torres.

Johnny was born in Binghamton, NY on May 05, 1970. As a child, he lived with his parents and sister in Conklin, NY. He graduated from Susquehanna Valley High School and went on to receive his undergraduate and graduate degrees from Rochester Institute of Technology in Rochester, NY. Johnny enjoyed his family, his dogs, and everything about the outdoors including hunting, fishing, and spending time at the beach; but most of all, he appreciated a good campfire.

As a father, Johnny will be remembered as a dad who never missed a practice or a game, was always up for a wrestling session, a walk in the woods, or a good snuggle on the couch. As a son, he will be remembered as a strong-willed kid who was a challenge and a joy to his family, who will miss him terribly. As a brother and friend, he will be remembered for his loyalty, protective nature, and his ability to listen and give the best advice. As a husband, he will be remembered as someone who cherished his family above all else. Anyone close to Johnny knows he wore his heart on his sleeve and he stayed true to himself until the very end.

Johnny's family takes peace in knowing that he is with his Lord and Savior.

The Torres Family will host a Celebration of Life to honor Johnny's memory on Saturday, January 15, 2022 in Cincinnati, OH. All are welcome to attend this family friendly event. For details and additional information, please log in to his CaringBridge page.
