Joseph Edward Mckiernan

Joseph E. McKiernan, age 63 passed away on December 5, 2007 after a tragic car accident. He was the loving father of Dan and Matthew McKiernan, proud grandfather of Nick, Drew, Katie, Maddie and Jack, and was the dear brother of Jack, Bob, Marge and Molly. A memorial service will be held in Michigan, 10:00 AM on Friday, December 14th, at St. James Catholic Church, 241 Pearson Rd, Ferndale, MI, 48220. In lieu of flowers the family requests expressions of sympathy be sent to the Make a Wish Foundation, 230 Huron View Blvd, Ann Arbor, MI 48103. A memorial service in Ohio will be held at a later date. Burn what is left of me and scatter my ashes to the winds to help the flowers grow. If you must bury something, let it be my faults, my weaknesses and all prejudice against my fellow man. Give my sins to the devil; give my soul to God. If, by chance, you wish to remember me, do it with a kind deed or word to someone who needs you. If you do all I have asked, I will live forever. My name is Marge, and I am Joe's sister. We were close and I know he has many friends in the Cincinnati area. For that I am grateful. I will be back in Ohio after the New Year to plan a memorial service and send off for Joe.
