Josephine L. Cook

Josephine L (nee" Hafer) Cook, passed away on Wednesday, June 2, 2021, at the age of 75. She was the beloved wife for 33 years to Steve Cook, loving mother of the late Harold Dempsey, proud grandmother of Crystal and Christopher Dempsey and her great grandchildren, Chloe and Lily Dempsey, and dear sister of Pauline Lehmenkuler, Martha Lyhons, and Terry Hafer. Josehpine was preceded in death by her parents Louis and Gracie Hafer, 8 siblings, John L. Hafer, Louie A Hafer, Jr., Harold P. Hafer, Betty Morgan, Thelma Gibson, Mae Hafer, Sally Friedly, and Joyce Bruner, and her fur baby, Piere. She was a longtime member of the Grantslick Baptist Church in Granstlick, KY. A Funeral Service will take place on Tuesday, June 8, 2021, at 1 PM at Craver Riggs Funeral Home and Crematory, 529 Main St., Milford, OH 45150, where family and friends will be received from 11 AM until the hour of service. Burial will be at Graceland Memorial Gardens in Milford, OH.
