Joyce 'Ann' Kamp

KAMP, Joyce �Annie�, 59, devoted grandmother, mother and wife, lost her battle with cancer Thursday June 19, 2014 surrounded by her loved ones. Annie was born May 28, 1955 in Cincinnati, Ohio to Arlie and Alba Cannon. In 1975 Annie graduated from Calhoun Community College in Decatur, Alabama. That same year she enlisted in the U.S. Air Force and served 4 years as a civil engineer. Ann was known for her love of all and especially her love of children. Ann is survived by her loving husband Stephen, Steve Jr. And granddaughter Kaydence. Ann is also survived by her sisters Mary McCutcheon (David), Donna Ruggles (Cliff) and brothers William, Rodney and James Cannon. She is also survived by a host of nieces and nephews. Ann is preceded in death by her parents, Arlie and Alba Cannon and brothers Frances, Donald and David Cannon. Memorial service will be held Friday, July 11, 2014 at 1pm at Mt. Carmel Baptist Church 8645 Kenwood Rd. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital donors@stjude.org.
