Joyce King

Rhea Joyce King, daughter of the late Mima Ellen Weber (nee Campbell) and William Garland King, passed away on June 6, 2015 at the age of 61. She was born in Winchester, KY and is survived by her husband of 33 years, Alan Dine, daughter Kelsa Dine, sister Amy Weber Dearing, and three brothers, William, Randall and Leonard. Never a stranger twice, she took great pride in stating she had been on maternity leave for 25 years, an accomplishment that gave her the time to raise her daughter and search for the perfect song. Through her kindness and generous nature she supported the music community of New Orleans. Human kindness, she was the embodiment of the words. The family asks that donations in her memory be made to the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Foundation, Attention: In Memory of Rhea Joyce King 1205 N. Rampart St. New Orleans, LA 70116.
