Judy Daye, cherished wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully on November 7, 2025, in Montgomery, Ohio, at the age of 85. Born on February 3, 1940, in Cincinnati, Ohio, Judy was a radiant soul who brought joy and warmth to everyone who was fortunate enough to know her.
Through her life, Judy exemplified positivity and kindness, easily striking up conversations and forming meaningful connections with those around her. She married Charles E. Daye, Sr. at a young age, and their enduring love became the foundation of a welcoming home that drew family and friends alike.
Judy had an unwavering passion for life, embracing various interests that brought her joy. She loved nurturing plants, engaging in the elegant art of ballroom dancing, and exploring the world through cruises and warm vacations each winter. However, her greatest love was reserved for her family. She took immense pride in her sons—Charlie (Karen Hayton) Daye, Jr. and Kevin (Sheila Henize) Daye—and reveled in the vibrant lives of her grandchildren, Josh Daye, Andrew Daye, Austin Daye, Shelby Daye, Megan Daye, and Dylan Daye. Additionally, Judy's heart expanded with the arrival of her great-grandchildren, Lily Daye and Evelyn Daye.
Judy was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Ben and Eva Gulley, and her son, Paul Daye. Despite these losses, her spirit continues to shine through her legacy of love and the many cherished memories created with her family.
A Celebration of Life will be held on November 19, 2025, at the American Legion Post 256 in Loveland, Ohio, from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM. This gathering will provide a space for all who knew and loved Judy to share stories and celebrate a remarkable life lived with love, laughter, and a profound appreciation for family.
