Karen Klatte, beloved wife, mother, sister, and friend, passed away surrounded by the love of those whose lives she touched so deeply.
Karen was preceded in death by her parents, George and Catherine Sheanshang, by her sister, Catherine Sheanshang, and by her beloved little brother Robert "Bobby" Sheanshang to whom she spoke fondly of.
She shared 45 wonderful years of marriage with her devoted husband, Kevin Klatte, building a life centered on love, laughter, and family. Together they raised two children, Shannon and Kevin, who were the pride and joy of her life. She is also survived by her loving brothers, George Sheanshang and Mark Sheanshang, along with many extended family members and dear friends who will forever treasure her memory.
Karen had an incredibly big heart and a quiet strength that made her the rock of her family. She was the person everyone could count on, always offering comfort, encouragement, and unconditional love. Her kindness, resilience, and unwavering devotion created a home filled with warmth and lasting memories.
She found joy in life's simple pleasures. Karen was an avid reader who could often be found curled up with a good book, happily escaping into another world. She also loved spending time in the kitchen, eagerly trying new recipes. Whether a dish became a new family favorite or turned into a funny story everyone laughed about later, she embraced every attempt with enthusiasm and a smile.
More than anything, Karen loved her family. Time spent together whether celebrating milestones, sharing meals, or simply enjoying each other's company was what mattered most to her. The love she gave so freely will continue to live on in the hearts of everyone fortunate enough to know her.
Karen's legacy is one of compassion, strength, and unconditional love. Though she will be deeply missed, her spirit will continue to inspire those she leaves behind.
In Karen's memory, gather with the people you love, try a new recipe even if it doesn't turn out quite as planned and then settle in with a good war romance novel. She would surely smile knowing her memory continues to bring people together through laughter, love, and the simple joys of life.
