Katharine 'Kitty' Davis

Katharine Ann Metzger Davis of Cincinnati, OH, and Northport, MI, passed away on Thursday, October 8, 2015. She was born February 19, 1929 in Gallipolis, OH, daughter of Ralph D. and Katharine P. Metzger. She was married to Hayden D. Davis, Jr., who predeceased her. She is survived by four children: Lynne D. Spies (Richard) of Lynchburg, VA; Beth D. Bartlett (Michael) of Santa Barbara, CA; Katharine Meg Davis of Milford, OH; and Hayden D. Davis III (Shelly) of Terrace Park, OH. Additional survivors include four grandchildren: Allegra Bartlett Bealer (Derrick), and Shane, Hayden and Conner Davis; her sister, Sue M. Hazlett of Saunderstown, RI, and her brother, the Rev. James P. Metzger of Cincinnati. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, October 13, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Thomas Episcopal Church, Terrace Park, OH. Memorials in honor of Kitty and her love of music may be made to the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra, 1241 Elm St., Cincinnati, OH 45202.
