Kenneth E. Blake

Kenneth E. Blake, age 94, passed away peacefully on November 7, 2018. He was the beloved husband of 65 years to Delores (nee' York) Blake, loving father of Kimberly Blake, Shelly Smith, and Justin (Heather) Ryder, devoted Papal of Alicia (Rodney) Abbott, Whitney Smith, Jacob (Michelle) Smith, and Dakota Simpson, and great grandchildren, Christopher Hacker, Lily Abbott, and Cole Abbott, and a very proud companion to his 4-legged son, Buddy 2. Ken will also be missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Olind E. Blake and his mother and step-father, Beulah and Robert Moore, his brother, Boney Blake, a sister, Kathryn Webber, and his 4-legged son, Buddy 1. Mr. Blake proudly served our country in WWII in the Army Calvary, was a Harbor Master, a co-owner of Alpha Window Manufacturing in Woodlawn, and loved boating and reading. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, November 17, 2018 at 6 PM at Craver Riggs Funeral Home and Crematory, 529 Main St., Milford, OH 45150, where family and friends will be received from 4 PM until the hour of service. If desired, family requests memorial contributions be directed to the funeral home to help offset the expense of the services.
